In 1937 Sicklesteel Motor Company was Founded offering the first 24- hour towing service in Skagit County. A 1929 Cadillac V-12 roadster was converted into their first tow truck. Set the first concrete tilt-up in Skagit County with a tow truck. Sicklesteel purchases their first crane and changed the company name to Sicklesteel Cranes and Towing. Added the largest truck crane in northern WA to fleet. Purchased the first hydraulic crane. Began providing project lift design and lift management services. Added the largest lattice boom truck crane west of the Mississippi to their fleet. Moved corporate headquarters to new location. Began providing 2-D CAD drawings for lift design. Added the largest Hydraulic All Terrain Crane in the west. Purchased the largest lattice boom truck crane in North America Introduced the first Demag AC155 and Demag AC205 to North America. Expanded operations by opening a facility in Kent, WA. Founded the Washington Crane Safety Association. Added the largest Hydraulic All Terrain Crane in the Pacific Northwest. Purchased the largest Hydraulic Truck Crane on the West Coast and expanded operations once again by opening a facility in Tacoma, WA. Began providing 3-D CAD drawings for lift design. First crane rental company in the Pacific Northwest to require CCO certified operators. First to begin providing lift management/lift design packages to the construction industry. Added the largest Hydraulic All Terrain Crane in the United States to the fleet.
